Received an invoice from DealShield®? Here’s what you need to know.

Sometimes, vehicle returns are necessary. If you purchase at a partner auction location and use a floor-plan company, you’ll receive an invoice from DealShield®. We understand that may be a bit confusing, so we put together this blog to help explain.

• With the DealShield DS360 guarantee, you can return vehicles, and we’ll make sure your purchase price and buy fee are refunded quickly.

• When you return that vehicle, we will satisfy the total amount floored, including fees not covered by DealShield.

• DealShield will rebill you for any non-covered fees paid to your floor-plan company. Things that could be included in this billing are the DealShield fee, the floor-plan fee and inspection fees.

• DealShield may also bill you for partner auction DealShield fees that were either not billed or not paid for at the partner auction location.

Our AR team sends VIN-level invoices daily by email, and an all-inclusive total statement is emailed out monthly.
