What exactly does your DealShield DS360 Return Guarantee cover?
We want to give everyone a quick, clear outline of which vehicles do and do not qualify under the new terms, so you can continue purchasing with confidence.
Here’s what’s covered:
- – Vehicles purchased from Manheim, or from independent auctions within the DealShield network.
- – Vehicles that are priced under or at $100,000.
- – Vehicles that are 20 years-old or newer.
- – Vehicles with less than 250,000 miles.
- – Nearly 95% of all green and red light vehicles.
With these terms, DealShield DS360 Guarantee customers have a broad range of wholesale vehicles they can return for almost any reason for a full refund of the purchase price and buy fee. Note that vehicles with a purchase price greater than $35,000 will include a 1.5% surcharge on the dollar amount above that $35,000 mark.
Here’s what’s not covered:
- – Vehicles with an odometer above 250,000 miles, or vehicles whose true odometer reading is unknown.
- – Vehicles priced in excess of $100,000.
- – Vehicles 20-years older than the current calendar year.
- – TRA, salvage, biohazard, exotic, specialty, hand-built vehicles, or vehicles with branded titles.
- – Vehicles purchased on an MSO, or vehicles with reassigned VINs.
It’s also important to remember that your coverage may be invalidated if a vehicle’s purchase price is significantly higher than the current market rate, and that no DealShield product covers acts of God.
