Received an invoice from DealShield®? Here’s what you need to know.
Sometimes, vehicle returns are necessary. If you return a vehicle purchased at a partner auction location, and you used a floor-plan company, may receive an invoice from DealShield® for non-reimbursable fees.
We understand this may be a bit confusing, so we put together this blog to help explain.
Rebill Invoices:
• With the DealShield DS360 Guarantee, you can return vehicles, and we will make sure your purchase price and buy fee are refunded quickly.
• When you return a vehicle which was floored, we will satisfy the total amount floored, including fees not covered by DealShield, with your floorplan company.
• To recover these non-reimbursable fees which DealShield will have reimbursed to your floorplan, DealShield will rebill you directly. Some fees that could be included in this billing are the DealShield fee, the floor-plan fee and inspection fees.
DealShield Fee Invoices:
• We understand there may beare at, or are not paid for, at the partner auction. In these instances, bill you for these DealShield fees. Our AR team sends VIN-level invoices daily by email, and an all-inclusive total statement is emailed out monthly.
