Is the DealShield Select Return Guarantee automatic?

Yes. Eligible vehicles purchased will automatically receive a DealShield guarantee. A charge will be added to the vehicle. Guarantee eligibility is subject to our post-sale audit process.

Are any selected vehicles not covered?

Guarantee eligibility is subject to our post-sale audit process. If your purchase is significantly more than MMR, the purchased vehicle may not receive a guarantee.

We will email you immediately after purchase if any vehicle fails to qualify.

How do I return a vehicle?

You can return a vehicle for any reason* within the time and mileage allotment and in like condition. Here’s what you do:

• Request a Vehicle Return Authorization (VRA): Log in to your DealShield Dashboard here, click on Guaranteed Vehicles to find vehicles eligible for return and initiate the return. Choose the most convenient network location auction from the drop-down menu, complete the form and submit.
• Drop off the vehicle: Vehicles must be returned to the chosen auction by the VRA expiration date on the VRA confirmation you’ll receive via e-mail. Please also print this confirmation and place on the vehicle’s dash for easy check-in.
• Deliver the title: Please provide the negotiable title to the front office at the return location. To complete your return, we must receive a negotiable title. If the purchase location still has the title or if the seller has not presented the title, we will attempt to intercept the title on your behalf. If a vehicle title is held by a floor planning institution, we will do our best to coordinate directly with that institution to obtain the title and process your return. There are times where you may need to contact your institution directly.

Is there a limit to the number of returns I can make?

We’ll monitor your returns, and if they greatly exceed our expectations, your performance manager will reach out to discuss your purchases and your returns. You could possibly receive a rate increase or be removed from program eligibility.

When will I receive my refund?

Our goal is to get your reimbursement to you or your floor plan within 5-7 business days of your vehicle and negotiable title being checked in.
